Updating the Games and Systems
So the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft XBOX 360 and Nintendo's Wii all have a common feature. The download of old Games. A while back I viewed that my PlayStation 3 can download PSone Classic games to the system from the PSone store. The part is I own all my favorits on a Hard copy witch is a real PSone Game disc. For me is a better choice incase something ever happend to the system or hard drive. So I was woundering if I own the real copy of the PSone game, should their be a option under the PS3 to rip the game to the library. Also waiting for Sony to make a system update to play the PS2 games on it witch my first PS3 I own quit working that was the BC, So I bought a new Slim PS3, and maybe even come out with the PlayStation 2 Store. If doing this, ripping or even downloading and if Sony will agree with making this with top brands such as Capcom, Konami, EA. They could make new updates for older games. This is kinda what some people have been talking about with trophy add on. If capcom say had time and went ahead and added trophy in the 1998 Resident Evil 2, they could add an option in the main menu "Version Update". This will download new costums, More weapons and items and if possible update the graphics and add new enimies or even add new videos to the game. For me I played and beaten my games many times. I own "going to pick RE2" for the PSone, GameCube, PC and Nintendo 64, out of these versions of Resident Evil 2 I noticed you got diffrent costums if you know about the costums, PC had better graphics, the GC remake I kinda wonder why it was remade, The Director's Cut was a complete remake but 2 and 3 was just ported to the GC and nothing changed in it.
Resident Evil 2 new screen under the PlayStation 3 game play
Another add I would like to see, since im playing Resident Evil Director's Cut PSone, is if playing on the PlayStation 3 is if CAPCOM would remake all the videos and replace them in the Resident Evil games that would make it nice touch to the classic games and have the option at the start of the game to view game play with Original videos and New videos.

Playing PSP Games on the PlayStation 3
Back in 2005 I bought my first introduced Sony PSP system for $499. I later bought "reason for getting a PSP" Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and later Portable Ops Plus and now the recent, Peace Walker. Witch I bought the PSP 3000 Peace Walker Pack. And my other reason for buying that was to hook up to the Tv witch my first PSP can't do. So I've played around with Portable Ops for awail, trying to get use to the "1" thumb stick witch I find hard if your use to playing all the previus Metal Gear Solids. So I've been waiting and hopefully Sony will come out with the PS3 Controller support for the Sony PSP luckly for all PSP versions, don't feel like buying another... But I got the MGS pack PSP 3000 for one its MGS and 2 the 3000 version has Tv output support. And I'd find it nice having a mini system not just for playing in the car but to sit it next to the tv and use your PS3 controller while the PSP is hooked up to the Tv.
PlayStation Portable Player
A rather nice add on I think so, much like with Nintendo's GameCube "GameBoy Player" This is something I've been wanting to come to the PS3 since I owned a PSP. It simply connects in the 1st USB port on the PS3 and fits into the shape of the system and connects on the side of it. Most of the time when I play my PSP I was always wanting to play it on a console, for my reason of getting a PSP was to get my all time favorit Metal Gear Solid. And Portable Ops / Plus / Peace Walker were only on the PSP system and not for PS3.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Talk
Act 4 Returning to Shadow Moses. Remembering The 1998 PSone Metal Gear Solid and later returning to it in Metal Gear Solid 4 is a memory. But one of the things I was wanting was to view the entire complex of Shadow Moses again. Such as B1,B2 of the Tank Hanger "Can't Enter Elevator" Return to the Commander's Room on B1 of the Nuclear Warhead storage facility. It would be nice if Konami would give map updates to the MGS4 game and allow access to these places via download since maybe the BluRay disc may have been full and it seemd like a fast walk through in Act 4. Updates: Enter B1, B2 of Tank Hanger | Enter B1 of Nuclear Warhead storage facility, Enter Comm Towers, Use the cargo Elevators to reach REX "Otacon finds a way to open the doors" Another Point to add, In the Blast Furnace "The Special Elevator Otacon talks about was not shown in the MGS or the MGSTTS. All I came up with was When Otacon disegaged secuirty when saying, it opened up the wall to the secret elevator to the rolling facilities. Atleast that sounds good to me to fit in. |
PlayStation 3 PSone and PlayStation 2 "Play Game?"
Playing the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation 3 games you slide over to the Game controller icon and scroll down to the disc and up comes that games content and small action video. Heres a nice update Sony could do with the PSone games and if Sony will ever allow PlayStation 2 back on PS3. The PSone and PS2 content. The way the PlayStation 3 could maybe know what disc it is from a PSone is read what content is on the disc for Saving games. This also could even later get into throphy support.
Emulator
For the PC only crowd emulators are the thing to play console games on thier PC. But what if SEGA, NINTENDO, SONY and Microsft brought out a Genuine copy Emulator Software to PC owners.
The image to the left is a demo version of how SEGA would look for thier Emulator software. Since SEGA is now only software for games, they could bring out an emulator for their old disc based games such as the Saturn and DreamCast, and possabliy Sega even develope a offical USB controller. And even Sega could release a USB cartridge slot of their older console games. For the companies to keep sales with their current consoles, they would need to bring out the Emulator for the oldest consoles, thus still making profit off old games with people buying the emulator.

SkyRim character creation Images from PS3
Belive it or not, you can actually have Resident Evil's BOW type T-103 Tyrant "Mr.X" playable in game. And it works on the PlayStation 3, XBOX 360 and PC versions, Because this isnt even a mod. The great thing about Skyrim is you get to create the face look / race of your character for the game. For this, I choose Imperial, made him max buff, grey skined, whited the eyes and made him bold with matching color hair, since you can still see the shaved head. In the image I just picked up a random looking trenchcoat robe, "Im sure theres a green one in Skyrim somewhere. Throughout the small play of the game I just use hand to hand and since he's buff, he takes out enemies fast.
There is also "for PC only" a mod to be Halo's Master Chief and just have to mod your Armor/helmet.

Half-Life's Lambda Logo found on Vault 108 door in Fallout 3. This was common to find throughout Half-Life 2 and its episodes letting Gordon Freeman know the resistance left him some supplies in that location. The Lambda logo would usually be spray painted in a bright orange.
Fallout New Vegas, Access Caesar's Fort and Legate's Camp early.
At the lower end of the Mojave Outpost next to the Crescent Canyon west and beside Morning Star Cavern, where Nightstalkers are at. Stay close to the edge of the mountain cliff and you will see the canyon. Don't go down it but keep jumping to reach the other side and you will see that there is a opening "No solid wall" to get to the other side the Crescent Canyon. Congratulations you are on the out side of the map. The Red path marked on the map is where you must follow. You can check out the other side of the Mojave outpost where the fence needs a key or even checkout the other side of Camp Searchlight air port to see that there was a road and parking lot there. and Even check out the bomb test site wholes. But the Colorado river does come to an end as you can see on the map with dangerous tall mountains you can fall from by getting fall damage.
Once you are on the other side of the Colorado you can see Cottonwood Cove, heading towards the Legion camps, make your first stop at Caesar's Fort first as you will locate it on your map, This is important if want both camps. The once located Caesar's Fort, circle back to The Legates and you will see his camp. Do not drop down to the fence or you will get stuck. Stay on the rocks and you will see the entrance to his camp during the ending. head to the corner of the rock area without dropping down to the gate and the game will soft lock thinking your game froze. It didn't freeze as it was teleporting you into the front entrance to Legates Camp. Now you can walk up to the camp entrance and unlock locate it on your map. You can't visit Legate in his tent as it says it is locked from the other side but you unlock these areas on your map at the start of the game.
Note this will probably take you 20min of your time to run this path.
