Microsoft XBOX 361 Elite
Don't want a XBOX One and rather stay with your XBOX 360?
Just upgrade your XBOX 360 board.
The Original XBOX One that came out in 2013 will not fit due to how large it is. But the XBOX One s is the exact same size in it's metal case caddy as the XBOX 360 base and Elite.
I am upgrading my XBOX 360 Elite and now would be called the Microsoft XBOX 361 Elite.
Here is an image of it put together. I just have to rewire cables to the location that of the 360's ports. The HDD top cover isn't snapped in yet to open it later to work on it but just put together to show it off. The power location is the same location as the XBOX One S. So no more power Brick. So twice the better upgrade for the Elite. For the top 360 HDD, I am going to add the XBOX One external storage drive there. (In the 360 HDD case of course)
The Bad: The power on button is where the front USB ports door is as you can see in the image with the light on. I need to figure out how to get the light to glow through the 360 power button and power it on by the real button. The HDMI port is covered by the fan vent. I will probably look for a ribbon HDMI cable extender to where the HDMI port would be. The DVD I mean the Blu-Ray drive I will just cut a line through the silver disc tray cover so it fills that gap.
I will get better images later as it is dark out when I did this project.
